# 2. Tour Guides

The origin of the word “Tour guide" comes from the English term "guidance," meaning to lead or direct. Tour guides are service professionals who manage and accompany tourists, providing information on the destination, and offering services such as interpretation, to ensure a safe and comfortable trip.

Despite the intended purpose of guiding tourists and providing necessary services, the rise of low-cost package travel has led to a perception of tour guides as having low status and limited roles within the travel industry.

Recognizing the essential role of tour guides in the travel industry, we aim to restructure the industry by placing travelers and tour guides at the center. Through this approach, we seek to improve traveler satisfaction, increase the earnings of tour guides, and enhance their job satisfaction.
