# 1) Independent role of Tour Guide

Within the ecosystem of Insta#LAND, tour guides play a critical role in designing and commercializing travel itineraries and constructing travel content. They are responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of travelers, providing guidance and interpretation services, and introducing the culture and history of the travel destination. To fulfill these tasks effectively, tour guides must be adequately compensated for their work. In the past, the low status and remuneration of tour guides in the package tour industry have led to a decrease in the quality of travel services.

To address this issue, we are redesigning the travel industry by relocating the focus to the traveler and tour guide. Tour guides will no longer serve as mere appendages to the travel itinerary but will become the main responsible parties for designing and leading the entire travel experience, from start to finish. To ensure their stability and increase their income, we must incorporate revenue streams for tour guides throughout the process of designing and executing the travel product. This can be achieved by acknowledging the significance of tour guides' contribution and paying them adequately. This will require a paradigm shift to re-evaluate the role of tour guides from a mere 'tip' payment to a formal 'guide fee' that reflects their importance in the travel industry.

Tour guides are experts in local travel and tourism. We can leverage their knowledge to gather and update local information, which can be integrated into travel products. To achieve this goal, we are developing a system that will allow tour guides to design and develop travel products and monetize their contributions through token-based rewards. These rewards will not be limited to a one-time payment but will continue to be rewarded as their information and travel products are used in the platform. This system will incentivize tour guides to contribute their best efforts and enable the Insta#LAND platform to grow and evolve based on their contributions.
